Titan Poker Overview (8.5/10.0):
Titan Poker (www.TitanPoker.com) is the most popular room on the iPoker Network, which is a growing network run on Playtech software that does not accept USA players. Titan Poker's strong points include their excellent customer support, big money tournaments, and their creative player promotions. The iPoker Network is third in total player traffic behind Full Tilt Poker and PokerStars, so you can be sure you'll find a game at any time of the day at Titan Poker.
Titan Poker Software (8.5/10):
Titan Poker has a nice lobby layout - it is reminiscent of the old Party Poker lobby. On the left you have a navigation bar that lets you quickly find games you want. You can choose from Casino Games, Quick Search, My Tournaments, Cash Tables, or Players.
Casino Games takes you to Titan's integrated online casino. Quick Search lets you punch in the type of game you're looking for, and the software will instantly find that game for you. My Tournaments displays tournaments that you like to play so you can easily register. Finally, Cash Tables is a list of all the ring games that Titan offers. At the bottom of the navigation bar there is also a few options to let you find sit and go's or tournaments of your liking.
At the bottom of the Titan Poker lobby you will find standard buttons like Cashier, Players, Contact Us, Promotions, Options, and Help. Also, at the bottom and at the top right of the lobby you will see banners that display TitanPoker.com's latest promotions, and these banners link off to pages that fully describe the promotions. One unique feature at Titan Poker is that one of the main options on the left Navigation Bar is called Players, and lets you search for a player that you'd like to find. This makes it easy to repeatedly find bad players and take all of their money.
Once you find a cash game or tournament you'd like to play, you will be brought to the Titan Poker table. The tables at Titan are clean and easy to understand, and have the normal buttons displayed in the usual places. The action buttons are in the lower right of the window, and allow you to Fold, Call, Raise, etc. Also, you have the pre-select options in the same place (Fold, Check, Call, Call Any).
One thing I really like about Titan's table is the cards; they're HUGE! A lot of other poker rooms have their cards big enough for the average player, but at Titan you can see your cards from across the room. Also, they don't have avatars, just players sitting around a table. Here's a picture of the table at Titan Poker:
(Titan Poker Table)
The table picture isn't full size, but you can still see that the cards are big, and the table is very clean and not confusing whatsoever. Learn how to download Titan Poker for more information about the software.
TitanPoker.com Promotions (9.2/10):
Titan Poker offers promotions including a $500 sign up bonus and tournament tokens to a $20,000 freeroll.
$500 Titan Poker Bonus
Titan Poker offers a 100% up to $500 bonus to all new depositors who use bonus code PSORG. After you sign up and deposit, you have to clear the bonus before you can play with or withdraw the bonus money. To clear the bonus you have to earn Titan Poker Points by playing for real money at the TitanPoker.com site.
USE TITAN POKER BONUS CODE PSORG FOR THE $500 BONUS
For every 600 point you earn, $5 of your bonus will be released. So if you deposit $500 to take full advantage of the $500 bonus, you have to earn 60,000 Titan Poker Points to release the full bonus. You have three months to clear the bonus before it expires, so Titan gives you plenty of time. In addition to this, if you are playing a high volume of hands you will qualify for Titan's VIP program, and start earning points faster and faster.
Titan Poker also provides all new depositors with five tokens so they can play in satellite tournaments. These satellite tournaments each award fifty seats to a $20,000 freeroll, which runs on the first of each month at 20:00 GMT. There are five satellite tournaments every week, so the $20,000 freeroll only has 1,000 entrants (20 satellites per month x 50 entrants per satellite). Remember that you receive five tokens for entry to five different satellites.
Titan Poker Games (8.0/10):
Like I mentioned before, Titan is on the iPoker network, which is the third highest trafficked poker network in the world. At the moment there are just over 10,000 players online according to their website. By using the left hand navigation bar in the Titan Poker lobby you can find all of the games you wish, so we'll start from the top.
For Limit Hold'em Titan offers games from $0.02/$0.04 to $300/$600, and at the moment there are games running all the way up to $150/$300 blinds. There are heads up tables, shorthanded tables (6-max), full ring games (10-max), and some 8-handed tables at the upper limits. There is good traffic from the lower limits to the middle limits, and the tables start thinning out at around $20/$40. However, like I mentioned before, there are games running right up to $150/$300, so you don't need to worry about finding a high stakes table.
Not surprisingly, No Limit Hold'em is the premier game at TitanPoker.com. The games start out at $0.01/$0.02 and continue up to $100/$200, but at the time of this writing the highest game running is $25/$50. Basically, there is heavy traffic from $0.01/$0.02 to $10/$20, and then the tables start thinning out. Titan offers heads up, shorthanded, 8-handed, and 10-handed tables for NLH.
Pot Limit Omaha games range from $0.01/$0.02 to $25/$50, and Titan actually has pretty good PL Omaha traffic. Games are running at every limit at the time of this writing, and there are dozens of tables with open seats. If you are an Omaha player, Titan is a great option. Also, Titan is one of the few poker sites with five card stud.
Titan Poker Beginner Tables
One unique feature that Titan offers for cash tables is their beginner tables. Beginner tables are specially labeled on the Titan Poker site, and you can only play at them if you are a new player at Titan. This lets new players play with other new players, so you shouldn't have to face any card sharks your first time playing. If you have played at other online poker sites and just signed up at Titan Poker, you can take advantage of these less experienced players.
Titan Poker Tournaments (8.3/10):
Titan Poker has an impressive lineup of weekly tournaments including guaranteed money tournaments as well as re-buys. Every day they offer three freerolls for new players (a new player is anyone who has signed up within 90 days). Also, just like other rooms they have their Sunday lineup of mega-tournaments.
Some highlights from Titan Poker's daily lineup of tournaments include the:
- $5,000 Guaranteed $3 re-buy tournament at 4:15 GMT +1
- $10,000 Guaranteed $25 buy-in at 12:05 GMT +1
- $20,000 Guaranteed $30 re-buy and add-on tournament at 16:15 GMT +1
These are only a few of the daily tournaments, and in total Titan offers over 100 real money tournaments every day.
Titan's big Sunday tournament is their $250,000 Guaranteed. This is a $215 buy-in, and satellites are available all week long and especially on Sundays, when they run all day long before the $250,000 tournament starts.
Titan Poker "Club Titan" (8/5/10.0):
Titan's VIP program is one of the best in the industry, and offers players fast point accumulation, exclusive freeroll tournaments, special reload bonuses, and exclusive cash bonuses. There are six levels to the program: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Titanium, and Diamond, and you reach each level by acquiring a certain number of Titan Points each month. Here is a table showing you how many points you need to earn for each level per month:
(Titan Poker VIP Levels)
As you reach each level of the VIP Club, you become privy to more and more benefits. The following table shows you what each level of member is eligible for:
(Titan Poker VIP Benefits)
As you can see, Titan really provides players an added incentive to play at their room. My favorite part of the Titan VIP Club is the fact that if you are a Gold level member or higher, you receive free cash at the start of each month. Gold level members receive $10 for each month they maintain their status, Platinum members get $20, Titanium members $50, and Diamond members receive $100/month for holding their status. Sign up at www.TitanPoker.com to enroll in Club Titan and start earning poker rewards.
