The Continental Poker Channel

Cash Poker Clash LogoThe Continental Poker Channel (previously known as the Continental Poker Championship) was founded on January 25, 2008, and promises to offer nationwide poker broadcasts in 2010. What was previously a poker tournament series in the North Eastern USA has become a television channel that will be available on many cable packages. You can find more information about the Continental Poker Channel (also known as the Cash Poker Clash)

CPC Programming

The CPC plans to televise three varieties of programs: High Stakes Cash Games, Tournaments, and Pay-Per-View events. The High Stakes Cash Game show will feature six of today's top poker players battling it out at a $100/$200 real money No Limit Hold'em table. Tournament broadcasts will show live final table action from several CPC tournaments in New York and Seattle. Every single hand of the final table will be shown live with exposed hole cards.

Also, the CPC will occasionally offer pay-per-view programming that will broadcast special poker events from across the United States. There are no prices listed on CPC's website, but we imagine the pay-per-view poker broadcasts will cost between $20-$40 per event.

CPC Programming Hosts

The Continental Poker Channel has already made arrangements with two hosts for their poker programming: Tom Schneider and Eric Eulis.

Tom Schneider

Tom Schneider is a 49 year old poker professional who won the 2007 WSOP Player of the Year award, and is a two-time bracelet winner at the World Series of Poker. Schneider finished 52nd in the 2009 WSOP Main Event, and has also final tabled two separate World Poker Tour events.

Eric Ulis

Eric Ulis is a 43 year old poker player who is the founder and CEO of CPC.tv. Eric's entertainment background includes a stint as a radio talk show host, and he also has previously worked as a stockbroker.

Continental Poker Channel Private Label Cigar
